Make a Difference

The apostle Paul made clear the motive of Christian giving - it should be done freely and joyfully (2 Cor 9:6-15). Since grace emanates from the heart of God, it encapsulates what the gospel is - it is the free and glorious favor of God! Paul discusses financial support in this theological context and summarizes certain principles. One such principle is: sow sparingly - reap sparingly; sow bountifully - reap bountifully (2Cor 9:6). The Christian life should be lived generously in ‘every’ manner: time, talent and treasure.
